Grab a Thought, Spark a Revolution!
This is a creative installation: a quote jar filled with inspiring words on education, in both English and Italian. ITAL 27 students will be there, ready to recite quotes.
Students in Italian 27: The Revolutionary Classroom have spent the term exploring the lessons of great Italian educators such as Maria Montessori, Rosa and Carolina Agazzi, Don Milani, Alberto Manzi, Gianni Rodari and many others —teachers and writers who reimagined what learning could mean for future generations. Thanks to the support of the Leslie Center Humanities Lab, and the Dartmouth Library, the students are bringing their insights to the Dartmouth community through a creative installation: a quote jar filled with inspiring words on education, in both English and Italian.Stop by the south end of Berry Main Street on Monday, November 10, from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm to grab an inspiring quote to spark your own revolution in learning. And if the jars run out—don’t worry. The students will be there, ready to recite quotes and share the lessons of those who believed that education can change the world.Event supported by Dartmouth Libraries and the Leslie Center for the Humanities.
